ABOUT BTG
Back to Godhead (BTG) was founded by His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1944 as an English-language magazine meant to offer spiritual solutions to complex problems facing humanity at large. In the beginning, before he came to the USA, Prabhupada was often BTG's sole writer, editor, and publisher. After 1966, he handed over the responsibility to his disciples and followers who continue to publish the magazine today.

MISSION
Our Mission
Back to Godhead’s mission is to illuminate humanity’s path with spiritual solutions, fostering discernment between the eternal and the transient. Guided by the teachings of Krishna consciousness, we share wisdom, critique materialism, and celebrate divine chanting, inspiring remembrance and service to the Supreme. Through our diverse content, we aim to preserve Vedic culture, provide practical insights.
